Ishaan's 3D Printer Design

On Monday the 14th of November, We had 3D Printers and Mrs P brought in a 3D printer specialist his name was Farshid. He was showing us how to make a mobile phone case. Before he explained what to do I was nervous that I couldn’t do it. But after then when he explained it I had an idea in my head of how I would design it. Farshid then showed us his case to give us a perspective on how the case looks like. I got a good look around the phone and I got the measurements I needed to make the case. It took me about thirty minutes to finally get the right design. Here is a picture of my design:

What I did to make the holes in the iPhone is to just get a square or any shape, then chose another shape and turn it into a hole then move the hole to where ever you want then group the hole and shape together and done!.

I think the easiest thing for me was making all the holes of the apple logo, the camera inside the phone because I already knew that before when Farshid came before a few months ago. What I found hard was making the inside of the phone case hollow and if I had another chance to make another design I would make a model of a car. I really enjoyed making and designing this iPhone case.
